Then, too, you must hear the truth penitently. You must be as that Mary, who when she listened to the word, must needs go and wash the feet of Jesus with her tears, and wipe them with the hairs of her head. There must be tears for your many sins, a true confession of your guilt before God. But above all you must hear it believingly. The word must not be unto you as mere sound, but as matter of fact. You must be as Lydia, whose heart the Lord opened; or as the trembling gaoler, who believed on the Lord Jesus with all his house and was baptized immediately. You must be as the thief, who could pray, “Lord, remember me,” and who could believe the precious promise given, “Today shalt thou be with me in Paradise.”

Governor Oshiomhole employs widow he insulted, gives her N2m

Days after apologizing to the widow he told to 'go and die' Gov Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has offered employment to the woman, now identified as Mrs Joy Ifije.

Aside from the job offer, Oshiomhole also gave the woman  N2million grant for her to get a shop and trade. The governor met with Mrs Ifije today at the Government House and offered her the job which is to join the State’s War Against Indiscipline in the campaign against street trading & to keep the state clean.
"When you put your things on the road a vehicle can run into you and they have killed some people like that and that was why I said if you are a widow do you want more people to be widowed? But when I said go and die, that one was said in a fit of anger. And I am really sorry”, Oshiomhole said.
“I want you to join us. We would employ you and pay you salary. You would help us to campaign to other women not to trade on road sides. We should not use poverty as a yardstick.
The Governor then gave the woman a cash gift of N2 million
"In addition to working with the War Against Indiscipline, I am also giving you the sum of two million naira so that you can hire a shop, trade inside the shop and not roadside and I pray that God will bless your decision on how you utilize the money. This money is not for you to share or distribute but to help you as a working capital”.

Etisalat Nigeria, has reacted to Julius Agwu’s 7day ultimatum to the company that it should compensate him with the whooping sum of N100 million or risk legal action over “alleged unlawful and unjustified blocking and/or swapping” of his Etisalat GSM phone number 08189555555.

Julius Agwu had, through his lawyer, Festus Keyamo, demanded N100m after his business line was blocked by Etisalat.
Julius said in a bid to solve his problem, he had visited Etisalat’s Abuja office at Hilton to report the matter, and that He was attended to by one Miss Joan, who informed him that somebody had swapped his line. Julius successfully answered the security questions put to him, his line was restored with no airtime balance.

He was shocked when the line was blocked later on again. And even after his several meetings with Etisalat, they still failed to unblock his line the second time, causing him to lose some business opportunities.

Etisalat’s Public Relations Manager, Chineze Amanfo, while giving a response to the allegation through an email sent to PMNews, stated that contrary to the reportage of the issue on the blogs and news sites, a SIM swap was performed on the said line after the requester provided the company’s customer care executives with necessary SIM replacement information, in accordance with laid down NCC regulations and process for SIM swap.

Etisalat Nigeria is currently carrying out an internal investigation into the SIM swap incident and will refer the matter to the appropriate agencies for further investigation as may be necessary.

Pastor Chris Okotie Says All Catholic Will Go To Hell During His Sermon On Sunday

Rev. Chris Okotie left a lot of worshipers shocked on Sunday when he revealed in his sermon that all Catholics in the World are destined for hell as they worship Satan and are led by an Anti-Christ Pope. This is what the former Presidential candidate said while preaching at his Household of God Church in Ikeja suburb of Lagos. He said the catholic church is a counterfeit church set up by Satan.

He went on to reveal that Catholics “bow to idols and crucify Jesus every Sunday when they eat bread claiming they are eating Jesus’ body”.

The former secular singer poured fuel on fire when he also revealed that Catholics are not Christians and have never been to the bewilderment of his congregatiom

“They are not Christians and have never been,”

“They don’t know Jesus. They believe that when they eat bread on Sundays, they are eating the body of Jesus. It’s ritual,”
The Pastor who not so long ago divorced his former wife went on to tag the Pontiff of The Catholic Church, Pope Francis as the Anti-Christ. He said the Pope does  the work of the devil

“The pope is an Anti-Christ and the Catholic church will soon declare for Satan. This is the end of times,” Okotie fired on.

He urged the members of his church to help bring salvation to Catholics by evangelisation. Chris Okotie also revealed he was not being disrespectful but just speaking the word of God.

He went on to suggest that former Pope,  John Paul II had handed the Catholic church to Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus Christ instead of Jesus. He  kept on going ballistic as he also went on to tell his congregation that Catholics do not worship the Christ in the Bible

It is clear to Chris Okotie that the over 1.2 Billion catholics in the world have just one destination; hell fire.

“They don’t believe in heaven. They believe in purgatory, the purgatory that they invented,” .

“That church, the Catholic church has been there for Satan and at the right time, they will declare for Satan,”Okotie said.
The garrulous Pastor said a beauty pageant will also take place in his church next Sunday. His yearly grace programme where he makes donations to charity will also take place next Sunday

Pastor Chris Okotie is not new to controversies.  He once revealed the devil told him he was going to be a preacher. At another time, he said Pastor T.B Joshua is the son of the devil and will go to hell with his followers.

It is interesting to note that Pastor Okotie had claimed to be anointed as Nigeria’s President twice and those prophecies have not come to pass or are still pending

Following an exclusive interview with popular musician Timaya by  The Punch where he described his relationship with Empress Njamah as an  ’ugly episode’.

However, Empress Njamah has responded saying she is not not bothered by the popular singer’s words.

Empress Njamah told the  newspaper:

“Why would it bother me? It is one thing to be hurt over such statement and another thing to be disappointed. I wasn’t hurt and I wasn’t even disappointed. Worst things have been said and written about me but the people who know who I am would tell the difference.”

Empress said she was more interested in what is happening in her life at the moment rather than talk about “what doesn’t make sense”.

“I am more involved with my birthday and celebrating it with the orphans and the less privileged. I am better off talking about this than to talk about what is not important. I am too busy making money. People who know you will always know how positive you have affected their lives. FAST, FURIOUS & FATAL: Paul Walker Of The ‘Fast & Furious’ Movie Series Dies In A Ghastly Accident

Paul Walker, the star of many hit movies including the ‘Fast and the Furious’ series, died yesterday after being involved in a single car accident and explosion. He was 40 years old.

He got into a fiery car accident in Southern California. The car he was in was the only one involved in the crash, though reportedly one other person perished in the accident.

A statement posted on Paul’s Facebook page reads:

It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences. – #TeamPW

The tragic accident reportedly occurred in Santa Clarita, which is north of Los Angeles. Sources claim that the Fast and the Furious star was in a Porsche when the driver somehow lost control of the vehicle. It then slammed into either a post or a tree and then burst into flames.

“Sheriffs deputies are currently investigating a two person accident,” Deputy Heischuber of the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “Two people were pronounced dead immediately at the scene. The coroner’s office are the ones who will determine the identity.”

Paul had reportedly been taking friends out for test drives in the Porsche GT, and the accident occurred on one such ride.

The actor first gained fame when he starred in the 1999 film Varsity Blues. From there he became a household name, especially when he landed the role he is most known for — as Brian O’Connor in The Fast and the Furious movie series. Other films he starred in include Eight Below, Into the Blue, She’s All That, and Takers.

He is survived by his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.
