Kymani Marley in this year's Felaberation 2013

The annual event, instituted to celebrate the life, times and music of the genius Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, will commence on 14 October with a symposium titled: Movement of the People: The Fela/Bob Marley Perspective.

The festival’s street carnival – which includes street dances, choreographed dancing and gymnastics –  will hold on Saturday 19 October, across the streets of Ikeja, Lagos.

This year’s festival had begun with a Secondary Schools’ debate on October 8, with Oriwu Senior Secondary School emerging the winner.

The event is expected to climax on October 20 with Femi Kuti and Kymani Marley sharing the same stage.

Nigerian Artists, M.I, 2face, King Wasiu Marshal, and so many other will graze this years event.
