David Mark inaugurated as Senator for the Sixth time.






Former Senate president, David Mark, on Wednesday was inaugurated a senator for the sixth time.

He was given a standing ovation by the senate as he walked into the  senate chambers.

He was inaugurated at exactly 11:00am by Senate president Bukola Saraki after taking the traditional oath of office and oath of allegiance.

The inauguration of the former Senate president followed his victory at the February 20 Benue South Senatorial re-run election.

He thanked his constituents and Nigerians alike for the support and prayers that helped him to win the election.

He is currently the longest serving Senator in the country.
