Nigerian singer Maheeda and Miley cyrus in the school of thought that indecency brings popularity

In a society where to get attention from the mass media you have to sometimes do extreme things, who would blame two singers, Maheeda (Nigeria) and Miley Cyrus (USA) for taking off their clothes. They say all publicity is good publicity, and people’s attention will more likely draw to the bad than the good. This has been proven times without number.
Miley Cyrus, one of America’s sweetheart turned bad girl must have had someone tell her that to get attention you have to be willing to do something crazy because that is exactly what she did. She got raunchy, she got half naked, and she twerked her way to the number 1 spot in the nation. Her controversial single WRECKING BALL remains one of the top songs in the country at the moment, while the so called decent ladies lag behind.
Maheeda, a Nigerian lady initially started her music career with popular music. She put a lot of effort in her stage craft, put out songs decent enough to satisfy her conscience and got very little attention. Eventually she told the world she was born again and switched to Gospel music, maybe in an attempt to be different and stand out but that still didn’t get her the attention she felt she deserved. Then one day it happened, we started seeing Maheeda posting seminude albeit sexy pictures of herself on her Instagram, twitter and other social media and at last she got the attention she wanted. She is currently one of the most talked about ladies on blogs, social media and in traditional media. Goal achieved? Yes!
But like miley who took the opportunity to get her song to number one spot, poor maheeda has no song to her credit. But if this two remained proper, would they get all this attention they seem to get now?
