God is in control of history. I would even say history is His-story, as God is the one "declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, " my counsel shall stand and I will accomplish all my purpose" (Isaiah 46:10). God declares those things that are not yet as though they already exist. Even prophecy is history written backwards by the finger of God. How exceedingly awesome and amazing is our God.
God writes it out so that it will cone to pass. He knows the end from the beginning before the beginning even exists, and he is sovereign over all history and all rulers. His eternal decrees will stand because history is His-story.
