Victory in christ

Paul thanked God for the victory that comes in christ (1 cor 15:57) because the last enemy to be destroyed, was that of death when he finally and forever took the string out of it. Just as we've all been born into death by Adam's sin nature, so in Christ, everyone who trusted in him has been made alive, and that is why there is true victory in Christ. We are conquerors only in him, and the dominion that sin had over is has been vanquished, although we still struggle against our own flesh. We all want to do the right thing, bit we must realize we don't have the ability to do the right thing this is why we only have victory through christ who alone can bring us out of our own wretchedness.
